A Brief Norwex History

Norwex is an environmentally friendly MLM company founded in 1994. Their mission is to create an environmental safe concept of clean without using all the harsh chemicals that are dangerous to our bodies as well as the environment.

Norwex started in Norway with “Clean Without Chemicals”. In 1995 they started doing the home party business model and their business took off!

In 1999 Norwex was expanded into the US and Canada and in 2010 they had over 20,000 consultants world wide!

Norwex Product Line

The Norwex product line is very straight forward and simple. They have a microfiber cloth that has silver particles integrated into the the cloth. Things such as fungus, yeast and viruses can not live once being exposed to the silver particles. So not only will you be cleaning without chemicals but you will be killing off unwanted germs as well.

Norwex also offers organic personal care products. All of their personal care products are certified by Ecocert®. To be certified by Ecocert® you must have a minimum of 95% of your products ingredients come from vegtables or plants.

The Norwex Business Outlook

First off, I have to say that I am a numbers guy. So when I judge opportunities I look at the product as well as the interest level and other economic factors. We are in a recession right now, which means the interest in making money from home will be at an all time high.

Cleaning products are always needed around the house. There is also a big push towards being organic right now. Lastly, I checked the internet traffic for people searching for Norwex. 1989 people per day search for Norwex on Google! That is a huge number of people! Based on the factors above I would say that you have a winner if you are looking at joining forces with Norwex!

Marketing Norwex

The main way to market your Norwex business is to host a party where you can receive a percentage of the sales. This can be a fun way to make money and have people over to your house. Personally I don’t like to do a lot of selling so I market my Numis business online through a systematic presentation that sells the product for me. This might be more difficult to do with Norwex based on the product line and business model.

However, I would encourage you to learn how to market your business online. Just think about the 2000 people per day that are searching for Norwex! Wouldn’t you like to get your catalogue in front of just a few of them?
