Network Marketing Leads Exposed

Which leads are the best?

There are 7 types of network marketing leads which can be the potential candidates for generating your future sponsorships. They are categorized here depending on their acquiring costs and effectiveness. As more and more people are joining the network marketing business, it has become highly profitable to pay for marketing leads or generate them online. Let’s take a closer look at different leads, starting with the “penny” leads.

1. Penny/Bulk Leads:

Looking for cheap leads? Then these can be the pick for you. They cost you around 1-10 cents per lead. But to tell the truth, these are pretty useless leads. Mainly because, they have been resold so many times that most of them have changed their phone numbers and email addresses. And as you might have guessed; they are also ineffective when it comes to sponsoring people. They are the people who have little or no knowledge, and certainly are not even willing to learn. They need a boss, not a business partner. Basically they are looking for home based jobs rather than some genuine business opportunities.

If you are new to the network marketing business, then these penny leads can be of some value to you. They are actually a very good way to practice your network marketing skills. A few days with these cheap “non-leads” and you are good to go. If you are not good on the phone, these are the people to practice with. And trust me, if you can survive these bad times, then success is guaranteed in your future network marketing business.

2. Mid Range Leads:

These “mid range” leads are somewhat better than penny leads, mainly due to the fact that they have been resold a lot less than penny leads. And there are good chances that these leads have not changed their phone numbers yet. They can be acquired in the range of 15-75 cents. Due to their performance history, these leads have never been the choice for most distributers. And they are certainly not the ideal choice to practice your telephonic skills with. Paying for “mid range” leads is therefore not recommended.

3.  High Range Leads:

“High range” leads are usually sold 3 to 4 times. Therefore, they cost a little extra, with approximate cost of $1 to $3 for each lead. These network marketing leads are a much better option than the previous two leads types. These leads can be quite useful if you know how to deal with them. Most of them have never talked on the phone with a distributor before. Therefore, if you are good on the phone, or have practiced with the penny leads, then there is a good possibility of you convincing them to get involved into your business. But you might have to separate “home work” finders from the real business seekers in this case too.

4. Exclusive Leads:

These leads will cost you around $3 to $5 per head. The sponsoring ratios achieved by these leads are pretty good. But again most of these leads are not from the “business opportunity seekers” group. Although, few will be ready for business, but why to spend on these leads if you can get the similar result at a slightly cheaper fee.

 5. Co Op Leads:

These leads are not easy to acquire. They cost you around $2 to $7 per lead. In these leads, you along with several other marketers get hold of a lead generation page; where your personal ads will run for a set period of time. The leads generated are mostly interested in a business opportunity and if you are good on the phone, these leads can bring in lots of revenues. It’s usually difficult to find Co Ops, but if you are lucky in finding them, then I would surely recommend it.

6. Offline Leads:

These types of network marketing leads have been used for decades. Offline generation of leads is still one of the best methods to generate leads. To get started, you buy an ad space on the local newspaper or magazine. Then you collect valuable information from the potential leads who respond to your ads and respond to their queries. If you are good at office/secretarial work or sales copywriting, then I would highly recommend this method to you for generating leads.

7. Online Leads – Self Generated:

One of the best sponsorship ratios are achieved by the leads generated online. There is a smooth flow of leads generated online. But it’s not an easy job to get the flow coming. You need to be good at blogs and SEO techniques. Plus it requires hard work to get started, but if successful it provides a constant stream of leads. Finding good network marketing leads is an important prerequisite for the success of your online business.
