It is difficult to find a good Herbalife review from the distributor point of view because they are written by mostly ex distributors who failed to make any money in the business or they are written by those who are actively attempting to sponsor you into the business. There are also many Herbalife reviews that insist they were somehow misled and ripped off.

There is always going to be a huge failure rate within network marketing and MLM businesses, especially when some companies and sponsors promise pie-in-the-sky commissions. Signage for Herbalife can be found on telegraph poles on a lot of street corners and they claim you can make $1500 part time and up to $5500 full time. Which is true. Herbalife has been around for some 30 year now and 85% of the company’s $3.5 billion dollars in commissionable sales is distributed to approximately 15% of their top producers. The remaining commissions are shared by the other 15% of the field. But this income disparity is true for any business owner or professional. For example, the top 15% of all real estate agents make the most money. The remaining 85% barely make a living. It’s just the way things are because only about 15% of the people who get involved in any business or profession are actually willing to pay the price necessary to create success.

A quick look at the income disclosure provided by the company reveals the average annual earnings for an average distributor comes out to less than $300. So does this mean the business is not a viable option? Of course not. Everyone has the same opportunity to make the big money. Only not everybody will do what is necessary to make that happen.

Just punch the words “hate Herbalife” into a browser and you will get pages upon pages of stories from ordinary folks who have lost their savings and their sanity trying to make a success with the Herbalife MLM system and one word you will see a lot is “lie”. I call these herbalife review – disgruntled distributor review. They feel they were misled… and they might have been. But who misled them? The company? Their upline sponsor? It’s tough to know for sure.
